Do I need to have prior experience?
The simple answer is NO! at 1MR One More Round we love working with beginners and have created a system of classes and instruction to ensure that beginners are taught all techniques properly and set up for success in their Boxing and Kickboxing journey. We are excited to be given the opportunity to introduce the amazing fitness, stress relief and self defense benefits of boxing and kickboxing classes to residents in the Liberty Village area.
Do I need to be in good shape before starting boxing or kickboxing?
ABSOLUTELY NOT! There is a common misconception in boxing and kickboxing that it is an activity reserved for athletes and people who are already in great shape, however this couldn’t be further from the truth. Boxing and Kickboxing classes are the perfect activity to help kick start your fitness routine and begin getting into great shape! Throughout the classes students can choose to scale their workout up or down depending on their fitness and comfort level. Our trainers are adaptive and ready modify all exercises and workout to cater each students individual fitness level.
