Boxing Classes Never Get Repetitive
Unlike lifting weights at the gym, or spending 30 minutes on the elliptical, Boxing Classes never get repetitive. We have yet to hear someone tell us they thought boxing or kickboxing was boring, or monotonous. There are so many combinations of punches, and so many techniques to learn (with many aspects to them), that it will never feel repetitive.
Every class you’ll have something new to work on. Remember, boxing classes are not just about your arms, it's about learning to use your whole body together. When you're boxing you have to think about your legs, your footwork, your hips and your core. Believe it or not, most of your power in boxing comes from knowing how to use your core and being able to get your whole body behind the punch.
Plus, boxing classes are not just about striking, it is about defence too. It is about knowing how to move your head to avoid punches, knowing where to put your hands to block punches, and how to use your feet to move out of the way. Even when you are hitting the bag, you have to think of defence. For example, imagine a jab coming at you after you throw your own jab.
